To make a small garden in a minimalist house will be very suitable for using a dry garden and vertical garden. Vertical garden is an alternative solution for making a garden in narrow land conditions. Then what is meant by dry garden? Dry garden is a garden model that uses arid land and plants in it are plants that do not need much water to grow. Dry garden is indeed very suitable to be used as a small garden concept in the house. Usually the plants used are frangipani, cactus, bonsai trees, and others.

Here are some tips that you can use to make a small garden:

  1. The first time you must first make a dry garden. As you know before, the dry garden model is indeed very suitable for the shape of a small garden inside the house. To make this park, you should not use land and grass as a base for a small garden inside the house.
  2. This is because the grass will easily wither if you put it in the room because it does not get enough sunlight. Alternatively you can use stones and place them in pots.
  3. Even though the concept is dry garden, plants also need sunlight and air. For this reason, you should use a transparent roof for the garden inside the house, for example a canopy or net.
  4. Because the garden that is in the house of course the plants used will be different from plants outside the home. For dry gardens, use plants that do not need a lot of water such as cactus, Balinese pandanus, sikas, and many others. Do not plant adenium in the garden inside the house because it will blind the plants that are difficult to flower.
  5. Don’t forget to check your garden drainage system. Try at least 2-3 times to water your plants. Make sure that the flow from the remaining watering can flow smoothly into the drain. This is to avoid the risk of excessive waterlogging which can cause moss to grow in your garden area.
  6. If the garden in your house has enough sunlight, you can use it to grow a variety of hydroponic vegetables such as lettuce or tomatoes. But of course, pay attention to the humidity level of your garden because a garden that is too moist can make the plant rot faster.
  7. Because being in the house will certainly be susceptible to the risk of moisture that will make the growth of mold on your ataman. Therefore, you should use anti-fungal material, also known as anti-fungal coating, which can make the material durable. So you can freely use any material in the garden without fear of getting mold.
